Last updated September 7, 2026
What Flockroom is
Flockroom lets the OCIA ministry of St. James the Greater Catholic Church, Concord, North Carolina hold its sessions online for the people it has invited. It is offered free of charge, by volunteers, for that purpose only. By using it you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
Who may use it
Only people the ministry has invited: attendees who received a meeting link, and staff the ministry has added as presenters, Chair or administrators. Do not share your link or sign-in with anyone else.
Your part
- Keep your meeting link private. It signs you in, so anyone holding it could join as you.
- Do not record, photograph, transcribe or share a session without the presenter’s and the participants’ permission.
- Be respectful. The Chair or presenter may mute or remove anyone who disrupts a session.
- Do not use the site for anything other than the ministry’s sessions, and do not try to interfere with it or access parts of it that are not yours.
Google and other services
Signing in with Google, and the optional Google Drive and Google Calendar features, are subject to Google’s own terms and privacy policy. Live audio and video, hosting and email are provided by the third-party services listed in the privacy policy, under their own terms.
Presentations you upload
Presenters keep ownership of the presentations they upload. By uploading one, you allow Flockroom to store it, convert it and show it to the people in the session. Only upload material you have the right to share.
No promises
Flockroom is provided “as is”, by volunteers, without any warranty of any kind. A session may be interrupted by internet problems, provider outages or mistakes, and the site may change or stop at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the parish, the ministry and the volunteers who run Flockroom are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site.
Ending access
The ministry may end or change anyone’s access at any time, for example when a session ends, when the roster changes, or if these terms are not followed.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
